| Khao Chong Krachok Kested near Prachuap Bay is the moderate sized mountain which will always be visited by many tourists of Prachuap Bay. They will climb up the mountain to see the scenery from the mountain peak and pay respect to the Relic of the Lord Buddha.

How to get there:
By Car: From Highway 4 (Phetchkasem Road) at km marker 320, turn left to town. Cross the rail line and proceed about 2 km passing the Provincial Sports Stadium. About 500 m from the stadium, you will reach Thammikaram Temple where the stairs up Khao Chong Krachok Is on the right side of the temple.
By Bus: Get off the bus at the bus terminal and take the motorcycle to the mountain.
By Train: At Prachuap Khiri Khan Railway Station, take the tricycle or motorcycle to Khao Chong Krachok.
Highlight of Khao Chong Krachok is the high stair up the mountain peak of 396 steps, 245 m above the sea level. On the mountain top is the hole looking like the mirrors frame which is the source of its name. (Chong Krachok means the hold of the mirror)
Khao Chong Krachok offers different scene from other mountainous viewpoint near the sea since it offers the far distance view of Tanao Si Mountain Range and Khao Lom Muak at the right side. At the left is Khao Mong Lai and the fantastic dark blue sea in front, the fishing piers, wonderful Prachuap Bay, some islands such as Koh Hai Lam,Koh Rom, Koh Raed and the magnificent sunset scenery from high mountain.
Another highlight of Khao Chong Krachok is the large Chedi that His Majesty the King presided over the ceremony on 12 June 1958 and also grew the Bodhi Tree at this area. The celebration is held on the 12 th of June each year.
