| Khao Tao Beach
Although located quite far, Khao Tao Beach is still in the Hua Hin area adjacent to Suan Son Pradiphat Beach but outside the military area. The beach is wide and long having the beautiful viewpoint on the mountain. After a visit to Suan Son Pradiphat, you should also visit Khao Tao Beach located close to each other.
How to get there
By car: From Chatchai Market, drive along Highway 4 (Phetchkasem Road) southwards to km marker 243-244. Turn left and cross the railway line for one km to Khao Tao Temple.
By the mini bus: Take the mini bus from Chatchai Market (Hua Hin-Pran Buri) . Stop at the entrance of Khao Tao Temple and take a motorcycle to the beach. In case coming with the group, it is better to rent the mini bus from Chatchai Market right to the beach.
Khao Tao Beach: The owner of the white and clean sandy beach stretching about 2 km. The sea is shallow, good for swimming or relax on the beach, touch the sea breeze or picnic.
On Khao Tao Mountain offers the view of Khao Tao ranging to reach Suan Son Pradiphat Beach, Koh Singto and the marvelous scenery of the sea, The fishing- like tourists can rent the villagers boat at Khao Tao Village for fishing.
If you have a car, after your excursion to Khao Tao Beach, if you have enough time, it is good to drive to drive to Hua Hin and go to Pa La u Waterfall located about 63 km from Hua Hin. The area is appropriate for camping amidst the forest atmosphere, see the butterflies near the stream or trek the forest to the waterfall that is very fun.
There are canvas beds along the beach line and food to be ordered. Tourists prefer to stay at Suan Son Pradiphat Beach or Hua Hin Beach and come to visit
Khao Tao that takes not much time and also to other places nearby. Khao Tao is Hua Hins last beach. Farther south is Pran Buri District of several beautiful beaches and various activities which are different from Hua Hin.
