The Banyan Golf Club
Construction of The Banyan Golf Course commenced in November 2006 and is on schedule to open early 2008. The Banyan Golf Course has been designed by one of Thailands leading golf course design companies "Golf EAST" that will offer one of the best challenges in Hua Hin with far reaching spectacular views.
Whose notable previous successes have included renovation of The Blue Canyon Country Club Phuket, Tublamu Golf Club Phangnga and Santiburi Samui Country Club on Koh Samui. Khun Pirapon Namatra Managing Director of Golf East believes that The Banyan Golf Course has a very natural feel to it and by its design has the potential to be the best golf Course in Thailand, if not in South East Asia.

The initial impact was of the natural environment, as the course has been built around the natural lie of the land the trees and rock formations are as nature intended. The grass has been laid in many areas and is already looking dense and green, pineapples have been planted and the whole area imparts a feeling of peace and tranquillity.
Standing on the 15th tee I was transported to another realm, the view of the ocean and the surrounding mountain range is just awesome, it really is a part of paradise. I know that when you visit you will also be blown away with its beauty.
The clubhouse is inspired by authentic Thai architecture currently standing in Petchburi. The clubhouse is over 2,000 sqm., made of teak, with beautiful Thai roofs and will accommodate the pro shop, changing rooms and a 5 star restaurant. From the upstairs veranda, golfers enjoying the 19th hole will view fellow golfers on the 9th and 18th green and 1st and 10th tees.
